Kati Vasti

The word Kati refers to the lower abdomen area or the waist and the process of holding warm oil in the region that has been affected is known as vasti. Kativasti refers to the process of holding warm Ayurvedic oil on the waist area or other portions of the spine it is an effective treatment for spinal disc, arthritis of back bone, disc prolapse and muscle sprain in which warm medicated oil is retained inside an herbal paste boundary over the lower back for some 30-40 minutes. Finally, the oil is gently massaged over the body.

Janu Vasti

Janu means Knee Joint and the process of holding the medicated oil over the knee joint is known as Janu Vasti. It is beneficial in removing chronic arthritis and knee related ailments.

Greeva Vasti

Greeva means neck and the process of holding warm medicated oil over the neck is known as Greeva Vasti. It is beneficial in removing Cervical Spine problem.

Vasti

Vasti is the treatment where herbal medicines like medicated oils, decoctions, medicated milk or ghee are administerd through rectum using an instrument called Vasthiyantra. There are three types of vasti – Kashayavasti, Snehavasti and Uttaravasti.

Pizhichil

Luke warm medicinal oil is poured on the body continuously, followed by simultaneous massage. Ideal for relieving muscular pain, joint stiffness and effective for Neurological Complaints, Arthritis and Rheumatic diseases. It improves vigor and vitality.

Varma and Marma Chiktsa

Varma and Marma chikitsa is a healing system by application of pressure at Marma points. It is very effective for Back problem, IVDP, Sports related complaints and Spondylitis.

Nasyam

Nasyam is instilling drops of medicated oil into the nostrils. It is useful for healing chronic Sinusitis, Hemiplegia, Facial Paralysis, Migraine, Trigeminal Neuralgia and locked Jaws.

Netra Tharpanam

Medicated Ghee is retained for prescribed time over the eyes. This strengthens optic nerves, prevents eye diseases and gives a cooling effect to the eye. A very good treatment to relieve eye strain for those who work on computers.

Swarna Bindu Prasam

The process in which Swarna Bhasma (ash of gold) with other herbal extracts taken in the form of semi liquid given to the children through their mouth is called Swarnaprashana or Swarna Bindu Prashana. It is given monthly once on the day of Pushya Nakshatra. It’s a unique method of immunization which helps the children to boost up the intellectual power and produces non specific immunity in body to fight against general disorders. It is also helpful even to the special children with Autism, learning difficulties, attention deficit, hyper activity, delayed milestone etc.
